As Chief Operating Officer for Injury Finance, Krista Meardon oversees all operations and growth strategy for the company using her expertise in both business and medicine. Krista’s structure and guidance has helped turned Injury Finance into a successful, nationally recognized healthcare funding company.

As the Chief Information Officer for Injury Finance, Connor is an integral part of the team that creates and evolves our top of the line technology. From maintaining our internal operating system, building out our Portals and overseeing our data and analytics team, Connor’s behind the scenes efforts ensure that we are delivering exceptional service and technology every day.

As the Senior Director of Case Management, Cortney oversees the day-to-day operation of the Case Management department. A Colorado native, Cortney has been with Injury Finance since its beginning. While pursuing her education, Cortney worked in the billing department at Denver Spine and Rehab, a practice owned by I/F owner, Dr. Scott Burke. When the time came to start I/F, Dr. Burke looked to Cortney to join him as one of the founding members due to her incredible work ethic, understanding of the industry and dedication to her craft. Today, Cortney is the longest tenured Case Management expert in the healthcare funding industry. “Getting an opportunity to help people. The best feeling is when you get a call from the client stating they have finished their treatment and are feeling great. I also enjoy getting to develop relationships with the clients, firms and providers.” Outside of the office, Cortney enjoys spending time with family, volunteering and traveling.

As Vice President of Business Development at Injury Finance, Jessica Burke brings an enthusiasm for connecting people and building relationships to the team. Driven by her passion for helping others, Jessica educates personal injury attorneys and medical providers on the benefits that Injury Finance offers to their injured clients.

As a Regional Development Director at Injury Finance, Nick brings a strong communication initiative and a passion for connecting people and cultivating relationships to the team. Nick worked as the company’s provider contracting specialist before joining the business development team. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in finance from Concordia University, Nebraska, where he competed on the golf team. In his free time, enjoys spending time with wife and dog, golfing, and traveling to new places.

Originally from Georgetown, Texas, James moved to Colorado in 2013. He joined the Injury Finance team in April 2017 and has been assisting clients with their treatment ever since. After a few years as a Case Manager, James worked his way up to a Team Lead and eventually, Director of Case Management. James oversees our Case Managers who spend their days working directly with our clients scheduling them for their much needed treatments to recover. Prior to Injury Finance, James worked as an office manager at a psychology clinic specializing in caring for those injured in motor vehicle collisions bringing with him valuable personal injury experience. When asked what he loves most about his job, James replied, “Helping people reclaim their lives following their accidents.” Outside of work, James enjoys skiing, hiking and anything in the sun!

As a Business Development Manager, Joel brings motivation and relationship building expertise to our Tennessee market. His innate ability to build and maintain relationships is what sets him apart from others in the field. His priorities align with what Injury Finance believes will satisfy their customers directly and effectively. Most recently, Joel worked in the manufacturing business as a Safety Manager and prior to that, he rose to the rank of Captain as an Active Duty Army Officer and served our country honorably for over 4 years. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a minor in Military Science from Western Kentucky University. In his spare time, he enjoys being active in the gym, the outdoors, golfing, time on the lake, or enjoying a sporting event. He is also an active participant in the Veteran community, spending significant time fundraising and supporting events that help Veterans.

As the Business Development Manager for Colorado at Injury Finance, Ryan brings a proven track record and passion for building trusted client relationships. Before joining Injury Finance Ryan worked in media sales with Colorado AvidGolfer and most recently with iHeartRadio, departing as the region’s lead for the beverage and entertainment categories. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from University of Colorado at Boulder (Go Buffs!) and today still works with the Leeds School of Business as a Young Alumni Mentor. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golfing, skiing and traveling with friends and family.

As a Business Development Manager with Injury Finance, Chris brings dedication and knack for communication to build trusted client relationships. Prior to his tenure at I/F, Chris spent two years in the funding space assisting medical providers and law firms alike. His prior experience in the field cemented that Chris is committed to the hard work and customer service necessary to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Graduating from the University of Colorado in Integrative Physiology with a certificate in Neuroscience, Chris spent 8 years working between CU Athletics and a private clinic in North Denver as a physiologist. In his free time, Chris enjoys staying active outdoors and spending time with his wife, son and dog.
