Medical care financing choices to help your clients recover from injury and help you recover damages from the tortfeasor.

If you handle personal injury cases, you probably have clients that are uninsured, underinsured, or who cannot afford their health insurance co-pays and deductibles.  In the current economic climate, this is an ever-increasing client population.  Having a client without access to medical care presents a unique set of problems for your case:  you may have trouble establishing present and future damages, you might lose leverage in settlement negotiations, and worst of all, your client’s suffering goes unabated.  Finding a solution isn’t easy either because many medical care providers and facilities are unwilling to treat patients on a lien basis.

Injury Finance is the industry leader in providing medical care financing solutions.  Only I/F can offer your client a complete range of financing solutions, from lien-based healthcare funding to lawsuit-collateralized cash financing.  With Injury Finance, you have choices, and your clients can recover.

Injury Finance is also uniquely qualified to assist your injured clientsOur professional staff includes many years of experience, so we can help ensure that your client gets high-quality care and that you have a true solution in obtaining recovery for your clients.

Recovery HealthFunding™

If your client is uninsured or underinsured, our Recovery HealthFunding program can help you find the treatment your client needs to get from injury to recovery.

How it helps your client.  Recovery HealthFunding gives your injured clients access to top-quality health care with no out-of-pocket expense.  With your help, we evaluate your client’s case and qualify your client for funding.  If approved, your client has immediate access to our comprehensive network of HealthFunding specialists.  Injury Finance pays all of the approved health care bills under a single, global lien agreement.  When you settle or win the case, we present the lien for payment.  Your client pays only the billed medical care charges, with no additional fees or charges of any kind.  If you recover nothing, your client pays nothing to Injury Finance.

How it helps you.  Recovery HealthFunding provides direct benefits to you and helps you manage your case:

  • We have a complete network of care providers in a wide range of specialty fields, so you are spared from trying to locate individual providers and from overcoming their reluctance to provide care on a lien basis.
  • We have a single, global lien, so you have only one bill to pay for medical services through Injury Finance when the case is resolved.
  • Because the providers have been paid for their services, they make more credible witnesses as they have no financial interest in the outcome of the case.
  • Injury Finance collects, organizes, and provides the complete itemized portfolio of provider bills and notes, so you save the administrative cost of assembling your client’s medical care file.

Recovery Advance™

Sometimes your clients need money to get back on their feet while you are pursuing their claims.  Injury Finance can provide the means to do just that.

If your client is unable to work and therefore is unable to meet expenses while you pursue legal remedies against the tortfeasor, Injury Finance can help your client.  With a Recovery Advance, we can advance your client cash using the potential lawsuit recovery as collateral.  The proceeds can be used to pay for medical care, co-pays or deductibles, rent/mortgage payments, living expenses, or whatever your client needs to stay afloat while awaiting resolution of the lawsuit.  Recovery Advance is non-recourse, so if there are no proceeds from the lawsuit resolution, your client will not be held responsible for repayment of the advance if they have complied with the terms of our contractual agreement.
